Put this right next to the Yellowstone River and you have a great fly fishing trip. Prime time for Indian Summer, the end of September offers the angler predictable water levels and clear angling conditions. It's a great time for the late season hatches using blue winged olive and terrestrial patterns on the surface. Swinging wet flies is incredible and a great way to reach fish off guard and, if you like to throw big streamers, you know this is the time!
Arrive: September 21, 2008 Fly into Bozeman, Montana Shuttle or drive to Chico Hot Springs Resort in Livingston, Montana.
Fly Fishing Yellowstone Country’s Finest: September 22,23 and 24, one day off for casting clinics, spa treatments, hiking, shopping, sleeping or fishing on your own! Then resume guided fishing September 26, 27. Depart Sunday, September 28th.
